Drive Train Team

Drive Train team is responsible for the movement of the robot. This includes designing, assembling and building a fast and powerful drive train which will be the foundation of the robot.

Upper Body Team

Upper Body team is responsible for the functionality of the robot. The goal of upper body team is to design a structure of robot to accomplish the goal of game. Each year, the function of the upper body will vary with the game. This year, we hope to learn from our past year’s experience and created something brand new and innovative.

Controls Team

Control team acts as the “brain” of the robot; it is responsible for programming the movement of the robot. The programming team uses language called LabView and Java to program the robot. The Control team will also connect the wires and electronics on the electronic board and design the operator interface (i.e. controls). This year will be especially challenging because of a unique requirement to have a camera that will track the goal.

Website Team

Website team is responsible for promoting the team and the FIRST organization to the public and other robotics team through the website. They build the website from scratch including writing all the content and designing the "look" of the site.
